Insensitive SIFY !!
While writing a very superfluous article that's based on fantasy than any factual information, our favorite movie writer of Sify, MOVIE BUFF, wrote the ending of the movie Pattiyal.
The article, Is Vishnu the new Mani Ratnam?, clearly has a spoiler of the movie Pattiyal that an oblivious reader wouldn't guess from the title. This is why I tend to avoid any news or reviews of any movie that interests me.
On another note, the punniyavaan who released the stills from Shankar's Sivaji, that you will be seeing multiple times on multiple blogs in the coming days, should be tortured to watch prime time megaserials on Sun Tv.

The same holds for TV channels doesn't it...
I guess it is on KTV that there is a program which screens the climax of movies...old and relatively new...And there are programs making spoofs (like Lollu Sabha and Super10 songs and some such stuff) that give away film endings.
I even remember the sun tv film review female giving away the ending of th murder mystery movie "Andha Naal"( not the Sivaji starrer...the Prem starrer). Summa irundhale andha padam oda chance korachal, ivanga kadhaiyum sollitangana ketkave venam.
Ivanagala enna panlam sollunga...?????

Don't even look into the Pattiyal review from Cinesouth. Absolute rubbish review, giving away all sort of spoilers from the movie. I wonder how they even call themselves reviewers. Pathetic!!!

saw pattiyal just last nite and (i felt) it was a decent movie in recent times, though (i felt) it had the shades of surya, vikram and bala in arya, barath n vishnu respectively.
read sify review for the movie n the mentioned article n felt exactly wat u had written... ippo thaan oru friend kitta polambinde vandhu un blog'a padikren... sweet surprise!

FYI: The title song for the upcoming movie "Inside Man" featuring Denzel Washington is..."Chayya Chayya" by our own ARR. Another Spike Lee effect.

pattiyal is not good LG, and lets not compare vishnu to mani. pattiyal definitely has shades of pithamagan. its completely opposite to arindhum ariyamalum, and songs are totally out of context in the movie. and happy bday machan.

Hi LG,
It would be better if Indian Movie reviewers also attach the caption "Warning: Spoilers Ahead" to their reviews, so we can avoid that particular review.
But giving out the ending of a movie, which is currently running in an article about the director is the craziest thing ever.

Reagan, Agreed. There are also one set of reviewers who go as per these channels. if thee channels chithiram pesuthadi is good then they call that movie as the best movie of the year. truly pathetic.

Avinash, More than the suprise, if many have the same opinion obviously they would stop avoiding such sources for such news. i wish.
