Thoda Hero !!

vijay_fans.jpg

Vijay on Paalabhisehgam in an interview to Kumudam. Heck !! What a standard answer this has become in kollywood.

  1. Whatz your views on such stuff happening in a lot of temples in India? Don’t you think that is equally stupid as pal abishegam to nadigar cut outs?

  2. If Vijay had been an NRI, he might have answered like: “If it had been 2% fat milk, I wouldn’t mind , but I have told my fans several not to use …” ;-)

  3. He should ask his fans to stop erecting cut-outs in the first place.

  4. Though I’m no fan of Vijay, I fail to understand what else would be an acceptable answer…

  5. Hi LG,

Perfect! “Intha herosae ippadi thaan ejman kuthuunga ejman kuthunga”

  6. Well, An acceptable(still artificial) would not state the reerence to the ‘anbu sagotharigal’ and all that BS. So should a fan buy a liter of milk and think with the milk in his hand, “oh !! I shouldn’t be doing paalabhishekam. As our thalaivar said I should find a sagotharie’s kozhandai who couldn’t get milk”. And then he should give the milk to a kid.

BTW, I not taking the literal meaning here but mocking at this who pretence of the answer.

  9. LG, your view may be true, but I believe this is a problem with us. When it comes to showing love, tamil masses are a bit over reactive. reminds me of the dialogue in “Ramana” about how sentimental we are towards people we admire.

[ So should a fan buy a liter of milk and think with the milk in his hand, "oh !! I shouldn't be doing paalabhishekam. As our thalaivar said I should find a sagotharie's kozhandai who couldn't get milk". And then he should give the milk to a kid. ]

His answer might be cliched but there is very little else that can be done. Well, the problem is that there is nobody who thinks this way. Maybe, after his answer, atleast 1 in a 20 might think about doing it.

  13. Raapi, lol !!

Dhavanth, I don’t think your ration of 1:20 will work out. who needs advices and fans are the last to listen to advices.

Narayana(!), I don’t naradhar jobs. i think this was cliched.

Keerthi, Perfect. Agree with you. I think being a a fan should stop with the movie or rambling in a blog(?!). not go till the abishekam level.

KS fan club, look at what a fan is telling other fans. I am ‘lol’ing.

  21. makkale,
i don understand why everyone is trying to make nakkal of what vijay had said.
i think he has spoken in the right perspective.
or u want vijay to issue a statement reading “ennakku pAAlabhishekam(someone here had some problem with differentiating an ‘a’ and an ‘o’!!)panravan ellam, ennoda rasigane illa”.
    c’mon guys!!
[BTW,I remember a dialogue of Bhagayaraj in Gnapazham -"ennaku edavadhu nadanda naan Gadhiji;aana maathavangallukku kastham vanda -naan Netaji".

  23. What keerthi said makes sense. But how many fans are like that? look at the present situation. Wishing everybody was like that is not going to solve the problem. Maybe my number was wrong. But even if one person changes, it is a step.
