Did you check your GMAIL today
If you didn't, do it right away and come back.
GMAIL's mainpage chronologically lists the GMAIL milestones in 2004 and is ready to welcome 2005. My guess is closer to becoming right, atleast I hope so. Probably GMAIL will be made available for public, in early Jan 2005. So the beta issue attacks on GMAIL, just like Tsunami attacks on Asia, will have go to hell.

yes Lazy.
Looks like GMail's going public from Jan 1, 2005.
Hopefully Tsunamis dont spill over to 2005.

Gmail is truly amazing. Even before going public, it has just captured the imagination of many people. It’s actually a great achievement for google which shows in its soaring share price. Though google has not revealed the number of subscribers to its gmail service, I am sure it will be quite a number. As you rightly said this will certainly put an end to all the issues facing gmail!!

But I'm kinda surprised. For all the brilliant concepts they come out with, they still don't have basic text editting. I mean the very basic bold, italics and underline!! :)

Ravi, Same here.
Keerthi, We need to rush out Tsunamis before we enter 2005. Enough is enough.
Vasanth, The non-official numbers say it may be atleast 50% of yahoo base. No speculation would be as good as the original numbers.
Curses, That is what they are working at. But basically if you see Google loves raw ascii characters and not decorated ones. I am sure thats not the idea but I'm just making a guess here.

That previous set of posts are quite good.
A lot seems to have been done by people with respect to tsunami relief.
With the toll coughing up higher than 1 lakh, the true question is, is it enough?
