:( don’t know what to say.wish i could help instead of simply watching all of it on telly….and hearing 2nd and 3rd hand versions of it.didnt even realise the impact of the whole thing until afternoon…and it’s even more depressing when you consider how life will go on as usual a few days from now. oh well.

I visisted the entire stretch till Mahabalipuram. Very empty and very different ECR. Almost all the resorts and shops closed. People from nearby slums have come to the road and are staying there :-(

May the souls rest in peace. Very sad thing to have happened.

I was sleeping when the tremors hit chennai. Initially I thought it was some vibrations caused due to the movement of some big alamariah in the ground floor. u shocked me with startin para!!!

i slept through the tremor but i got really scared, (i live in royapettah) when ppl started shouting “the sea water is rising steadily !!!” and “the wave was so powerful that it demolished the light house” that is where i tot OH GOD WE ARE GONNA BE FLOODED!

one of the dopes even started shouting that the water is rising and that all families should lock thier rooms,homes and head for the terrace.

Only aft seeing sun news, i fond out that the water was surging back.shew!
