<description>No his character is a well-informed, &quot;country&quot; kind of guy but pronounces it quite correctly. You are probably thinking of surameen.

<description>WOW !!! Thanks Tilo for that. I&#039;ve been re-repeating the same word to get back the memory of someone whom I know well pronouncing it. I get that now. As Kamal sleeps in that hotel he tells that to Madhavan. I still remember Kamal pronouncing it as Sunameen.

But thanks for getting that memory stuck in my brain

You have heard the word tsunami before.
Kamal - anbe sivam - talking about his photographer dad to Maddy who promptly falls asleep. Says our Dhanushkodi does see waves of 50 feet every year.

		<description>Hi LG,
I am for months a silent spectator here. I appreciate the info put up here(as long the links of other bloggers) - it has enormously helped the indian diaspora abroad to empathise and feel for the unprecedented carnage on our beloved Marina. Thanks guys.

<description>That was a good article Lazy. People outside chennai should be able to visualize it much better!

BTW wherever I go I see people colelcting old clothes or food items(bread, curd etc) for the affected. It is nice to see people of chennai come together to help the needy at the right time.
